How to get a cat?

If you're lucky and your heart has responded to that very cat — your long-awaited soulmate — and you're ready to give this fluffy creature a new home and family, then hurry to fill out the application of the shelter Ostrovok — and a whiskered-striped joy will be yours!

Before filling out the form, be sure to read the animal adoption rules (presented just before the form). In short: adopting a new family member is a serious decision that must be approached thoughtfully, weighing all the pros and cons. Consider:

• do you have enough love and patience?
• do you or your loved ones have any allergies?
• do all family members and property owners agree with the decision to adopt an animal (those under 23 must provide confirmed parental consent)?
• do you have enough space to keep the animal?
• do you have enough money to care for the animal (food, veterinary services and medicine, litter box, fillers, toys, a carrier, window protection ? etc.)
• who will take care of the animal when you go on vacation or a business trip?
